NBA 2K9 Coming To Your PC
I have read and heard so much about 2K Sports’ NBA 2K series, especially about how it is way so much better than the only basketball simulation game in the PC platform, NBA Live. But starting this October, things are going to change. EA Sports is probably gonna lose some market share with the arrival of NBA 2K9 in the PC platform.
I’ve been waiting for this game to be released for PCs. Too bad I already have a Mac. But I would still definitely get one for use with my sister’s laptop. Here are the minimum PC requirements to play the best basketball simulation game, NBA 2K9.
OS: Windows Vista, XP, or 2000
CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista) RAM: 512 MB or more (1 GB for Vista)
Disc Drive: 8x or faster DVD drive
Hard Drive: 10.5 GB or more free space
Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible *
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible
Input: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad
* Video card with 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets is required: ATI x1300or greater | NVIDIA 6600 or greater | DirectX 9.0c compatible card with Shader Model 3.0 support
NBA 2K9 is set to release on October 7 on Xbox 360, PS3 & PS2 and October 21 on PC.

[...] NBA 2K9 is coming to the PC platform. But I don’t have a PC anymore. Call it wrong timing or whatever. But I won’t go back to PC. As the fanboys say, once you go Mac, you won’t go back. But yeah, it’s a big bummer that I can’t play NBA 2K9 on my Mac. So I thought why not get a console instead? It’s included in my wish list and I know I’ll have a better gaming experience with it anyway. [...]
