Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for winning the 2008 NBA Championship. The Los Angeles Lakers fought a good fight, but the Celtics defense proved to be too much for the purple and gold.

As a Laker fan, I am saddened by this tragic end to such a wonderful season. But as a basketball fan, I am happy for Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce, who waited for so long to get a ring. Hopefully, Kobe and the Lakers get theirs next season.
