Internet With Mac OSX And Nokia 6630

I was finally able to use my Nokia 6630 as a modem with the Mac over bluetooth. With uMobile as mobile carrier, I was able to surf at somewhat very slow speed for a 3G connection. I have to keep in mind though that this connection was made over bluetooth. But either way, I should have at least gotten the max of 144kbps but I didn’t.

This strengthens my case for a need to get either Smart Bro Prepaid, Globe Visibility Prepaid, or Sun Cellular Broadband Wireless. I would really love to have an unlimited mobile internet connection but given Sun Cellular’s track record (poor signal, dropped connections), that would be like throwing away Php999 a month. In the meantime, I’m gonna see if I can surf with no limits using the modded opera mini posted by clarkstyx. More on this later.
