Secondhand Seranade Live In Manila Was A Blast

After working during the weekend, my honey and I went off to Greenbelt to see Secondhand Serenade perform at the Greenbelt 3 park (March 28, Saturday). Although we didn’t have the best seats (we didn’t have any seat. LOL), I must say kudos to everyone who made the show possible. Secondhand Serenade Live In Manila was a blast, to say the least.

Not being a fan of live events (I have crowd and heat issues), it was quite a surprise that we even hurried to be at the venue on time. On 2HS’s site, the event was to start at 6:00 PM. But the posters at Greenbelt say the show was gonna start at 7:00 PM. Factor in the Filipino time and sure enough, the event started around 7:15 or 7:30 PM. The wait was all worth it, though, as John Vesely put on a great show. It was as if listening to his CD. For his finale, he performed “Fall For You” on keyboards, after performing around 10 songs with his guitars. If you didn’t catch him at Greenbelt, you can still see Secondhand Serenade live at the TriNoMa on March 29th and on March 30th at the Ayala Center Cebu. Anyway, shown below is a clip of Secondhand Seranade’s live performance at Greenbelt 3. More videos can be found here. I picked “Fall For You” because it is the only song that I can play on my guitar (as of this writing), and it was the finale and the only song he played on keyboards. Enjoy!
