Sun Broadband Wireless Speed Tests

I got my Sun Broadband Wireless (SBW) Plan 999 3G modem last Friday. As Sun promised, the account was activated after 24 hours. So last Saturday, we started testing SBW’s speed on locations that Jem and I frequently go to. We did get the advertised 2Mbps speed when we were at Krispy Kreme, SM Mall of Asia but I was not able to save the speedtest image. Here’s how SBW has fared so far:

At Krispy Kreme, SM Mall of Aisa

At Sampaloc, Manila

At Kingswood, Makati

Not bad, huh? But wait, there’s more! (LOL!) Since I am an existing subscriber of Sun Cellular’s Plan 350 (call and text unlimited), I was qualified to avail of the SBW Plan 999 bundle. The bundle has both 2Mbps mobile internet and mobile Plan 350 in one package for only Php999 a month. That means I am paying just Php649 per month for the 2Mbps mobile internet. Great deal right?
