When A Window Of Opportunity Closes, Another One Opens

My forex trading did not turn up as I hoped it would. After quadrupling my initial capital in just two days, I am now bankrupt on just the ninth day. My luck run out I guess. And there was very little effort to learn the basics.

But just when this window of opportunity closed, another one opened. First Metro Asset Management (FAMI) has made their balanced fund available even below its par value. That means I can now add shares to my investment in this mutual fund at market value (NAV as of 10/21 is 0.8786, par value is Php1.00 per share). Previously, FAMI did not allow sale of balanced fund shares below par value. That means that investors have to buy shares at Php1.00 even if the NAV is Php0.69. Being a shareholder of FAMI’s balanced fund, I get to have first crack at this limited offer. New investors may avail of this (if still available) after October 27, 2008.
