New iPods On The Way

Contrary to reports, good ole Steve’O is very much alive. And he did announce the new generation of iPods. So the Nano got taller, thinner and cheaper, and is now available in nine colors. The Touch, on the other hand, was redesigned and its price was lowered. Both iPods have the new feature called “Genius”. The Touch is now optimized for games too. And it also boasts of a built-in speaker. It’s kind of like an iPhone without the phone, and camera, and 3G. But what the heck, I got my Nokia for those stuff.

This announcement comes as good news to me because I think I really need an iPod. Getting an iPod classic 160GB doesn’t seem to solve my gadget lust for an iPod so I might pass on that and get a Touch instead. And since my Zen Vision M can’t sync with my Mac, it is definitely expendable. Any takers? Price is negotiable.
